Italian spinones are one of the oldest gundog breeds on the earth, they are extremely efficent hunters and can run all day. They are ideal for an active family home. Spinones love walking and swimming. They can be stubborn and the beard/ears can require some maintenance but overall they are a healthy breed, with an average lifespan of 13+ years. Be warned, spinones are huge drinkers, sometimes I feel they could put a camel to shame!!! For more info and photos, see Dan's thread in our forum.
